| I think my favorite awards I've earned in terms of legitimate awards and not gag-triophies were a big double handled glass cup for third place in New England junior division championship in 03 I think?
And a nice plaque for second place in the Temple Open last year. That plaque was also accompanied by my choice from the gift/prize table, from which I chose a temple football that I still have, still in the box.
I generally don't eat/use things that are prizes at tournaments, maybe it's sentimentality.
One of, if not my most, favorite 'award' for a 'tournament' was my first competition ever. My highschool team/club had just started, we'd all been "fencing" for about a half year when we were to hold a parents/faculty/introduction to fencing night in the school gym. It was obviously very informal, round robin to DEs standard format. I won and received as my prize one of those chocolate oranges. It's been sitting in my freezer at home for about 5 years now

| for those who like gift certificates The Cherry Blossom will be giving gift certificates for Absolute Fencing Gear to the top 4 finishers in each event + a profesional engraving (instead of medals) to the top 4. Let me know what you all think
P.S. Absolute will also be the on-site vendor |

| I won a BF FIE foil and a vniti FIE epee at our Lost and Found Open.. I even fenced sabre jsut so I could win a new body cord. I love it when the NACs come here!! |
