Bill Goering Memorial Charity Tournament (3/26/2006) on www.askfred.net

Bill Goering Memorial is a charity event that will honor one of the DFC's greatest fencers. All events will feature trophies for the top four places, including a special trophy for Senior Mixed Sabre. This tournament will feature the only Veteran events in the Colorado Division during the 2005-2006 season.

Bill Goering was a founding member of the Denver Fencing Center and a major fixture within U.S. Fencing. Bill was the former Vice-President of U.S. Fencing and an elite level Referee. He won numerous fencing competitions over his 50 + years of fencing and made two Veteran World Sabre Teams in his seventies.

The tournament will be held at:
Ridge Recreation Center:
6613 S. Ward Street, Littleton, CO 80127

Senior Mixed Epee 9:45 AM
Senior Mixed Foil 12:00 PM
Senior Mixed Saber 2:00 PM

Vet Combined Mixed Saber 10:00 AM
Vet Combined Mixed Epee 12:30 PM
Vet Combined Mixed Foil 2:00 PM

$15 donation per event for pre-registered fencers
$45 donation per event for non pre-registered fencers

All donations will be payable at the tournament.

A fencer can only fence in a maximum of two events.

100 % of tournament entry fees will be donated to Rocky Mountain Cancer Center Foundation.

All checks should be made out to this organization.
