| Too many sticky threads in forums. This isn't about any particular thread. I wouldn't want to be the person who has to choose which get stickied any which don't. However, having 5 stickied threads at the top of the Water Cooler and 6 on top of the Fencing Discussion forum really seem to me too many.
Particularly with the Water Cooler, where 3 of the threads are overtly about proper behavior, I think that condensing them into a single FAQ or "Read this first" would be much more productive, and cut down a lot on clutter.
Thanks. |

| Remember that I suggested that we have a moderator announcements subforum and no one said they would read it. The purpose of the stickies was to keep some things in the public eye. It's not uncommon - and I've seen far more on other boards. In any case Craig has cleaned a few out. |

| Sorry - the prevailing consensus appeared to be ... no one would read it. |

| "Eh....what's all the hubbub...bub?"
The present configuration doesn't bother me, and I'd rather not take a chance on a new subforum freezing up my browser like that "Fencing News" one does. |

| I don't think that a new forum would be any good; I probably wouldn't read it. However, keeping all the moderator announcements to a single thread is probably a good idea. |
