Of course there were, but this decision was made by our federation due to bad results of sabreurs. Fencing had never had good results in our country so it was decided to concentrate on few weapons only. Foil - for women, epee for men (men foil was canceled in 1984). And finally we have only epee in Lithuania now, because women foil was canceled in 1995 due to finances...
