This month we will be hosting Y12 events in all three weapons. We will be giving out the neat swords for the first place finishers also, why should all the big kids get all the cool toys!! The fourth televised show will be the final matches of all the Y12 events.

    Copies of the DVD

Well, if you fence in the event or if you send us an email you can now get your own copy for watching. If you would like to air the show in your neck of the woods you can do that also. You would be asking you local cable station to air it on the longform format or public access. Longform for the Charlotte market costs us $60 for the half hour and and works great to recruit new fencers to the sport.

    How we do it?

Ok, we have had a lot of emails on the subject so here is a little bit of information. Go to your local computer store and tell them you are looking to do home movies, we use pinnicle studio 10. Film the final three matches with someone commentating on the tournament, try to get a high end Mini DV recorder. Download into your computer (makes sure you have a ton of ram), edit and whalla!!! Your very own television show for you cable provider. We just picked up another market in NC that will be airing the show for FREE!!!! Some areas of the USA are just starving for content!

p.s. make sure you find out what format the cable station(s) want the video output in. They are not all the same.
