How can I learn without a coach

So i found whatisfencing.com and I really liked their file on In-fighting Drills (http://www.whatisfencing.com/data/as...rills_F101.pdf)

I was wondering if there were more PDF's or other ways to learn On-line so I can practice when there isn't a coach watching me. Also are their any free videos/downloads where I can see how the top fencers fence.

BTW I am Dan, a NY epeeist of 3 years who is trying to get as good as humanly possible before I graduate from college.

Thanks

Just to clarify, you mean "How can I learn when my coach is not present?", not "How can I learn without having a coach?". Because to learn fencing without anyone else at all, well, that's quite difficult. However, as you already appear to have some experience, my suggestion is to pickup Rudy Volkmann's book, Magnum Libre d'Escrime. It covers a great deal of footwork moves in amazing detail, as well as some useful advice on competing, etc. Also, a very useful explanation of armory information that all fencers ought to know.

For an epeeist you can always develop your footwork and point control without needing anyone and they are pretty important.

you can practice your parries, blade engagements, pris der fers, redoubles to the arm etc with an informed partner

but i think anything above simple drills could be bad for your technique, even if you think you are doing something correctly, you might not be and will have no coach to point it out, therfore you could develop bad habits that may haunt you (especially in epee with the altering distances)

Build a fenicing dummy, with an advanced targets for arm, thigh and foot. Buy as much fencing DVDs as you can. Visit and fence at as many clubs as you can. Go to as many tournaments as possible.
