Fencing teacher position in Sweden

Linköping fencing club (LFK) in Sweden is hiring a full-time fencing teacher from fall 2006. Applicants should be able to teach epée on all levels (from beginner to elite) and sabre at least up to intermediate level. Willingness and interest in instructing fencers of all ages is required, as well as ability to speak English or Swedish. Driving license is a merit.

LFK is the sole fencing club in Linköping, located in southeastern Sweden. The club, which was founded in 1970, has nearly a hundred members aged from 10 and upwards. It resides in its own salle, housed in an ice hall close to the railway station. The weapons practiced at the club are mainly epée and sabre.

Linköping is a modern industrial city with old traditions and a character as a seat of learning and culture. It has an air plane manufacture plant, a university, an institute of technology and a large university hospital. The population size is about 140,000, and the number is steadily increasing.

Applications, including a personal letter and a CV, shall be sent no later than March 20, 2006, to: Carl Schollin, Fogelmarksgatan 7, SE-593 34 Västervik, SWEDEN.

Questions? Please e-mail Carl Schollin at carl@linkopingsfaktklubb.se or Annica Isaksson at annica@linkopingsfaktklubb.se.
