Every time I'm by the airport. And on a related note, every time it nears the holidays, I'm always on the lookout for flybys of fighter jets on practice runs for the rose parade.

I don't remember. I take stuff out from the library anymore these days.

Sunday. My epee arrived yesterday.

When was the last time you did weights and shims on your weapons?

At nationals. They passed with the refs too. whew. I do a tune up every night before a competition.

WWTLTY had someone remark in surprise when you told them you were a fencer?

About a week ago, when I talked on the phone with a friend I hadn't been able to contact all summer. "Wow! I never knew anybody who fenced before!" she said.
I also made an emergency run to the grocery store on my way home from practice still wearing my knickers... Some people asked me if I was a jockey o_O

When was the last time you fenced better than you expected?

Nationals. I fenced out of my mind. hmm, considering my condition I guess that's how I should have fenced.

WWTLTY broke a blade on an opponent?

Has not happened to me in my short fencing career, and I hope it is a good long while before I experience that particular first.

When was the last time you painted a room in your house?

Last summer. My son decided he wanted a blue room.
