The fact that do not have their own domain registered to me is a warning to stay away.

Getting a domain name takes fifteen minutes and 35 USD. If they don't have anything to hide, they should be willing to have a traceable domain name.

I have zero confidence in them as a Web vendor.

Here is from a letter I got from the company:

    Regarding your questions:

    1. Our company was created in 1990. We were a large firm that specialized in
production and distribution of the steel products and raw materials mainly
in Russia and different parts of Europe. However, starting this year we
began to apply our knowledge of the steel business and quality to the
American market by focusing in Fencing and Sport Equipments.
    2. Our fencing products are made in the USA,Canada, Russia,Ukraine.
    3. Our Fencing online store is completely based on the Internet. This system
is very useful for our clients because the price they pay does not encounter
any additional costs, such as extra funds spent by other companies on
    unnecessary labor force or utilities.
The best way to contact us is through e-mail or fax. We apologize for the
inconvenience of not having separate phone lines for customer service,
however we promise a quicker and more productive service at lower costs.
The reasons described above responsible for the low prices on our fencing
    equipment.
SPECIAL OFFER: If you would like to see the actual product and
determine the quality, you can buy each particular item that you would like
to see closer and we will deliver it to you .
If you have any more questions contact us at FencingUSA@hotmail.com or Visit
    our website at <a href="http://www.fencing-equipment.bizhosting.com" target="_blank">www.fencing-equipment.bizhosting.com</a>

    Yours very truly,

    US $35? You've been taken.

There are plenty of top-level domain registrars that will do it cheaper than that. I got my domain through Dotster for $15 per year, and yes I do own it. (There are some less reputable places that will register the domain for you for a discounted price, but they end up owning the domain instead of you.)

If you want to pay less than 35USD it'll probably take more than 15 minutes.

The point is, there's no excuse for any online vendor to not have their own domain name registered in their name (and, therefore, somewhat traceable).

I've looked at their stuff before from Ebay postings. I wouldn't buy anything from them. Their stuff looks incredibly cheap. Remember, you get what you paid for...
