Hey, guys. I am wondering if anyone is interested in rooming with me at JOs and splitting the cost. I haven't gotten a room yet.. a friend's mother booked an extra room at the venue and will give it to me if I ask her. I am fencing Jr Women's Epee, I'm traveling out of the West Coast, so I'd like to stay the weekend to watch fencing.
I have to admit, I can see this going wrong.

Give Holden a break, this seems like a reasonable way to find other people interested in sharing to reduce costs... and not the first time that roomshares have been posted here on f.net.
Presumably Holden is smart enough to properly vet any responders. She is a fencer after all. :)

Well, if you read HC's profile, you will see that she is 19, so legally old enough to make this kind of decisions on her own. I don't think she needs a bunch of people making assumptions on what is or isn't going to happen at JOs... Besides, there are probably plenty of other more concerning opportunities for bad stuff to happen in a 19 year old's life, IMO.

Agreed with veeco, and before I read his post I was going to admonish DFP for reffing to a girl who is 8 years older than him "little", but anyways
I think HoldenCaulfield will be fine, not just because I don't suspect that he's stupid like alot of people seem to think, but also because I bet she's pretty adept at spotting phonies
