    Some goodies from Nellya Fencers

    Hello,
just some news from Nellya Fencers about our incoming tournaments and camps:

    1. Nellya Fencers and Dunwoody fencing club will co-host the Southeast Regional Youth Circuit tournament on March 18-19, 2006 at Nellya's location.
Registration will open on askfred.net this weekend.
    2. Nellya's March Maddness will take place on March 26, 2006 with two events: Open Mixed Sabre and D & Under Sabre. New this time: we will have a repechage from 16. (And oh yes, we hope to have our toilets ready.) Pre-registration is open on askfred.net. Info and all the registration forms will be posted on www.nellyafencers.com this weekend.
    3. We will conduct a Pre-Summer Nationals Sabre Clinic starting June 20.
You can sign up for as many days as you want at $25.00 a day. The Clinic will include intensive physical conditioning, footwork, bladework, drills, competitive bouting etc.
    4. Our Elite Sabre Camp will take place tentatively on July 17 through July 28.
As usual, there will be some excellent coaches, world-class fencers, and a lot of fun. Info is coming soon.

    Questions? Please e-mail at info@nellyafencers.com

THIS is the type of thread I'd like to see in this section of the forum, rather than all the WebBot threads that mean I rarely ever check it out.

Could not agree more. AskFred itself is more convenient to search anyway, so
    why double the information?

AskFred is great, but I agree. If fencing.net wants to duplicate it, why not create a separate forum just for the AskFred webbots? That would eliminate "actual" threads from immediately being spammed off the page by the webbot.

I don't see any sense in duplicating askfred. Askfred has the good sense to do what it does very well and not try to become everythingthatcouldpossiblyhaveanythingtodowithfen cing.com

Ok, it is official now: Nellya Fencers have walls and they are being painted.
People coming to fence with us during our two March events (Southeast RYC and March Maddness) will hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

Once again, many thanks to people who were with us during our rather long
construction process. It is moving along nicely and fencers who are coming to us for the Southeast RYC (March 18-19) and March Maddness (March 26) will enjoy such luxuries as running water and real toilets.
Please don't forget that the deadlines for the pre-registration at askfred.net are fast approaching (March 17), you can find the info and the registration forms at www.nellyafencers.com
