    Defined With Distinction

This game is intended to fine-tune our understanding of our fellow fencers' personalities.

    It is very simple:

Pose a question to the next poster, asking them to choose between two things that are VERY similar, but not quite.

For example, you might ask whether they prefer hot chocolate or hot cocoa. Or you might ask whether they'd prefer to have a scotch with Karl Rove or Dick Cheney. Or you might ask whether they prefer hockey skates or figure skates.

The next person has to answer the question, and EXPLAIN their preference, before posing another.

The more similar the choices are, the more effective the game.

The first responder gets to choose one of the examples I just gave, and has to explain in addition why that example was chosen.

    Your turn!

Figure skates. I like hockey quite a bit, and one can go faster on hockey skates, however, it's incredibly difficult to do much of anything (IMHO) without a toe pick. Hence, Figure Skates.

    Neither.

I have a russian friend who says "I wouldn't even urinate in the vodka you non-russians drink." That includes both listed options. I've taken his word, that we don't know what we are talking about. I can't actually tell the difference as I drink vodka with a mixer. Another friend has a Russian girlfriend and assures me that the vodka we commonly drink outside of Russia is indeed horses urine - although he has never managed to supply me with a bottle of the "good stuff".

Brunette. Something about the contrast with dark hair framing a fair face.

    Hot cocoa, or hot chocolate?

Hot chocolate. In my mind at least, chocolate is sweeter than cocoa (it is in real life, too), and I also have a tendency to say hot chocolate more often, probably because of my regional dialect.

A good thriller- right now anyway. I'm still riding the wave of coolness that was SAW. I honestly think that is one of the creepiest movies I have ever seen.
