Beard or No Beard...... | No, no, don't be silly, Larry! It's not the feact that you're married that made you feel transparent! It's that you don't use proper capitalization and syntax, so people assumed you were an oversexed 14-year old!
But in all seriousness, being married doesn't make one transparent (and by that I assume you mean invisible?). To some people, it's just more of a challenge.
Beards are optional.

For Swordwench....
i wish,,,,,then again....i dont that i WAS 14...
and what is "proper" syntax and grammar.....lol ???
in non web world i am much more compulsive about those things..., but since i am a terrible typist....(GRRRRR) ..it is just easier to get sloppy...
AND the limitation to written text lets us use things like CAPS....or exclamation points...~!~!..or the ubiquitous..."lol"....or even the dreaded...
any how....i do understand the "transparent-married-man" thing....i am just venting my spleen about the number of times i have just wanted conversation, a cup of coffee, or just human company....and was essentially ignored....
could just be that i am a tall, bald, old, nurd,,,,,LOL....
on the other hand....i have lived long enough to have experienced the other extreme, also...."the safe married man"................
so...no complaints...

| I agree completely (sorry Mel, though in your defense Mr. Soon-to-be-added-to-my-ignore-list is much much worse than you)!

It's not the beard....it's the glasses. |
