Just spent some time on the phone with the good folks at Western Carolina. There is no fencing team. There is no intramural fencing team. There is no knowledge of any one on facutly or staff or connected to the University by the name of Coach Earl Jameson.

Yeah I know, I almost didnt bother because of that. But there always seems to be that one idiot out there who missed the joke. Before you know it, you'll have a newbie showing up at practice wanting to learn the Russian Ninja Pirate Hydooken Technique or what ever that was...

Wow, not sure what brilliant minds you talked to here at Western, but I assure you, we do exist.
Also, I can't believe you actually went through the trouble of calling our school. Do you have a job? Do you have a life?
I'm guessing 'no' for both of those.

I'm inclined to believe kyle (ninjafencing, aka kyle tharrington) that WCU does have a club, or at least people there who fence and register as a usfa club together. According to at least one listing on fred, kyle represents the "WCU F.C.". Most likely whoever you talked to at the school wasn't aware they existed, as I can tell you is easily possible at a big school with a small club team.

That's about all the validity these guys have tho. I mean their website is an obvious joke. After brad pointed out their website (which I didn't get to see before kyle TOOK IT DOWN), kyle questioned where he got the link and denied any connection - despite the fact that the link was taken from his profile.
The new link in his profile is again obviously a joke. Kyle is apparantly the macho man randy savage. Anyways, obviously they are trolls and creating threads like this dedicated to them only strokes their ego. Ego stroking they find necessary to seek on internet forums, because, with his impressive "E06" in foil, it is unlikely kyle would be able to successfully stroke his ego at a real competition

And about the stroking of our macho egos, I couldn't care less.
We were simply trying to point out the creative new fencing techniques we are developing, but punks like you find it necessary to bash us at every opportunity.
But that's ok, it's obvious that some people don't have a sense of humor... or a life at all.
Hopefully we'll see some of you guys around, and we can demonstrate what we were attempting to share, aka, the Russian Strong Arm

and other Jameson moves!

I know it is a long way for you to travel, but please feel free to enter the Phoenix Cup in May. I'll be in the Open Foil event. I'm just a lowly U but I would be interested to see how quickly you can beat me down using your l33t techniques!
