| Music of the Moment Ever had a song come up in your mind, on your ipod, or on someones radio at a moment that seems fitting? Put it here. I'm bored, and messing around on Pandora.com, so forgive me if this seems a bit odd.
Just thinking about a girl I used to know. I really should be over her by now, but meh...

| Oh yes... *smiles at memory*
A couple of years ago I was madly and deeply in love with this wonderful person. I -- being a very shy person -- had so much on my mind I wanted to tell him. I tried for a long time, opening my mouth, then closing it again. I felt like one of those birds nests...
After a while of this agony the radio nearby starts playing "Words", an old tune from the early 80's by F R David. (The older forumites will probably remember it.) The chorus goes like this: Quote: Words don't come easy to me
How can I find a way
to make you see
I love you
Words don't come easy
Words don't come easy to me
This is the only way
for me to say
I love you
Words don't come easy |
That was a great relief, we both looked at each other and burst into laughter.

| Yeah my friends and I were roleplaying (alright so we're geeks what of it) and we were heading down into this dungeon where we anticipated getting our asses kicked, and my computer was in another and set to random play and just as my friend starts describing the dungeon Toccata & Fugue blasts out of the speakers of the computer louder than any of the other music that had been played that night.
(Look, ma, a run-on!)

| I'd tell you, but the song and the moment were too innappropriate for this boards' virgin eyes.

| This seems to really apply right now..even though I am not a big fan of Christina Aguilera....
So I wanna say thank you
'Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter just really applied.

| I was lurking the forums yesterday, and my brother randomly started playing Iron Maiden's 'Flash of the Blade'... how appropriate, I thought. What followed that was 'The Duellists'... I never knew those were fencing related until I listened to the lyrics last night
