"C" class refereeing licence

How far can someone with a class C licence referee till ? Can they preside for the poolbouts in overseas comps ?

Not clear what a class C license means. The USFA have number ratings for referees. The FIE uses a letter rating. If you have a class C, you can pretty much bet that you can referee any local and national (US anyway) event to the finals.

If you mean you have a competition rating of a C, well, that's nothing to do with refereeing. There are people who have C (or lower) competition rating and can referee quite well, and conversely.

Yes I meant a class "C" licence for refereeing.

Isn't there anyone else here that has taken the FIE refereeing course ?

I understand that a class "B" requires a decent knowledge of French, as the theory is apparently in French. Not 100% sure on that.
