| I think I've been converted... I know this is going to sound very scary for some, fantastically wonderful to others: I think I now consider myself an epee fencer!
I had a great weekend fencing epee. I had great practices in club this week. People are complimenting me on things like "point control" and "counter attacks". Get this: I'm loving every minute of it! I htink saber has now become my second weapon! |

| Welcome to the club.
You will find we are a much nicer bunch as we are: able to string a sentence together, not obsessed with the latest fencing gadget* and not required to wear tinfoil vests. * What is this 'off-target' light you speak of? Just fence ... |

| Well I wasnt gonna say anything, but your epee fencing looks better than your saber fencing.

| Meh. Here I was expecting some useful news, like you realized foil is the most awesomest thing since individually packaged baby cow.
EDIT: But I guess congrats on finding your way.

| Since I don't eat any cow products, I look at foil about the same way I look at individually packaged baby cow. |

| I just find it interesting that DFP was born without the filter that tells your mouth not to says things that you may be thinking. This is not the first time DFP has said something of the sort to me.
Maybe I will just have to quit fighting the urge to rub it in that DFP got his bootie handed to him at the Houston NAC.
edit: oh and don't worry...I'll be beating him with a stick soon enough. He now has a target on the front of his jacket |

| Congrats FG33! Enjoy the fun of fencing a different weapon than you're used to. I recently had the same experience and know exactly what you mean!

| Keep in mind that I've actually been fencing epee for about a year, but I was just sort of dabbling. I was a sabre fencer who played with epee. Now, I believe it's the reverse! I'm still shocked myself! |

BTW, fencing epee is also known to restore virginity - see me for a free test

Or D) All of the Above? | At least you didn't bring up the fact that it takes 750 grams to turn the lights on.
