| First day I'm here. I counted down from 120 days. I got here. It was anti-climatic, and I'm very busy now. So many orientation activities. It's boring, awkward, and ridiculous. But I'm here.
In case you didn't know, I finally got to Brandeis University after being accepted for the spring term of 2006. Yay me.

I've got a week to go.
When do you start classes? What classes are you taking? How's your roommate(s)?

| Oh yah Boston! Small on size, big on attitude. *Damn Yankees!*. You will love it. Unless you are a yankee's fan. In which case your life is forfeit.

| Ok, I'll respond to everyone:
G?F? - Classes start tomorrow: linear algebra, two writing courses (required), and spanish level 2. My roomates are great.
fencerbill - Oh, man, thank God you're the armorer, because I thought I might get assigned that job. I'll be contacting Shipman in a few days and I should see you around.
LUDICROUS - Who says I haven't?
JoH - Thanks
Krazyhades - I don't like the Yankees. I also don't like the Red Sox. I don't care enough about baseball to go completely crazy like these Boston people. I guess it's because Boston knows it's just a worse city than New York, so it latches on to sports to try and seem superior. This is why New Yorkers hate Boston so much: because the people of Boston think that sports is everything in the world.

| Araznal,
Be thankful that you don't have to be around in the summer, when it is all Red Sox all the time. One of my friends didn't care about baseball until she moved here (from California)... now she is a bigger Red Sox fan than anyone I know. She started to learn to fit in in conversation, and now she's a rabid fan. It can happen to you too... just be careful.
The reason Bostonians hate New York (and most New Yorkers) is the ever-present attitude that New York and New Yorkers are the most important things on the planet, and why would anyone ever care about anyone or anywhere else?
I'm sure I'll see you around at local things.

And no, Bostonians don't feel that sports are everything, they just have a lot of spirit, and, as DJ said, New Yorkers are all so stuck up and self-important. There's no problem with not being a rabid fan.

| Well, since you fence foil, I won't be beating you around the local and collegiate circuit, but I can make sure some friends do
