    do you know how to make a poll? As in, there are two options, and you choose one and click vote?
    Think about someone you know of "average" intelligence. Then think that half the world is dumber than that.

    What's the point of this exactly? Do we list our favourite games or do we decide between Asteroids and Space Invaders?

    I'd go for Asteroids of those two but for favourite games ... it depends. It depends on the type of game.

    Favourite Shooter: Half Life (for being more than just a stupid Doom clone and the progenitor of CS)
    Favourite Strategy: Shogun (for showing how it should be done and not being C&C; admittedly Rome is better)
    Favourite RPG: System Shock 2 (absolutely brilliant game; you don't really know your computer RPGs if you haven't played it)

    And so on ...

    Space invaders is crap. Coming from someone who grew up with stuff like Doom, you may think "it was awesome back in its day!" But I've played both alot, and asteroids is by FAR a better game.
