More or less, I expect the F-22 fleet (more like flotilla) to be taken out by a flock of birds flying into their intakes at an inopportune moment.

I love the F-4 for its versatility. Navy, Air Force, interceptor, fighter, bomber, Wild Weasel, it could do anything.

The SAAB J29 was propably the fastest of this kind of jets. It was also very easy to service for the mechanics, in fact, like all of SAAB:s fighters, it can be serviced by conscripts! .
Yes, but why do they insist on placing the ignition switch in the console?

The F-18 does it all better.
Just because you have the right, that doesn't mean it is right.

Having been designed over 20 years later, one must expect a bit of that. Also, relatively speaking the F-4 did them better compared to its competition compared to how the F/A-18 compares to its competition. I'm waiting for the Navy to announce the SA-18H ASW variant.

F-4 was NO fighter, get within gun range and you get a dead navy pilot(s)

Do you mean a fencing sabre or a cavalry sabre? Either way, I like it.
Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die. Now, offer me money.

    Yes.
    Power too. Promise me that.

    Tell that to Randy Cunningham.

As for the F-16, how well does it to against the F-22, Su-33 or Eurofighter?
