| It's my knightly duty to sample as much peril as I possibly can.
Also, I see no option for "sabre and mask", which is the obvious answer. |

| Ahem. You should invest the money, in a good no-load index mutual fund ( I suggest Vanguard ). That way, eventually, you WILL be able to afford sabre gear. |

| You could always do the responsible thing and invest, so you can buy more epees a few years down the line when you're having those peanut butter and jelly months... |

| The last option is what any sensible fencer will choose. There is something about fencing and vice that is very disturbing, yet cool at the same time...

There's just nothing new. If someone can point out to me something that'd make it a worthwhile purchase, then I'll advocate it. Right now it just seems like more of the same.

| Buy a '59 reissue Les Paul, a Marshall stack, a Roger Mayer Octavia Wah pedal, and ten years worth of guitar lessons. Revolutionize Rock n' Roll, become famous, get signed to Epic records, and give them my band's demo tape.
Thank you.

Thank you. | Will do! Well everything but the handing over your demo tape- I just fail to see how that would help me.

| Too lazy to make a new thread for this, so here's my dilemna: I have enough cash for either a new PS2, that epee I've been wanting, or a lame. Should I blow it, if so what should I buy, or should I save it? (My next paycheck is going to be rather thin thanks to the cut in my hours. Though I should be able to get by anyways)

| Dude, I never condone narcotics usage except in this one case. This is the quintessential peak of the life of a college age male. If you spend the money on hookers and blow you may have a chance to live the scene in Harold & Kumar where Dougie Houser drives by snorting coke of a strippers derriere. At that point the question of why you were snorting coke goes so down the list of questions it'll never get asked. And you'll live forever in collegiate infamy.

| Upon returning from Houston, I discovered that my primary computer was frozen, locked, and at its last breath to say the final good bye before it refused to reboot.
While troubleshooting one component after the other, I had entertained the possibility that I might have to revamp the motherboard. Let's just say that my computing lifestyle doesn't promote hardware longevity.... Then I came across this: Nerdvana
That's Dual AMD Socket 940 Opteron, 8 memory slots supporting 4Gig RAM each for a total of 32Gig RAM, 8MB BIOS, 4 SATA-II, 2 IDE controllers (with dedicated cooling system for each), plus the usual goodies.
These are wonderous times to be a geek....
