Hello From Wilmington, NC

HI Everyone,

I've decided to de-lurk and jump in to the forum. I have been fencing for about a year at a local club in Wilmington, NC (Cape Fear Fencing Association). I also have two children who fence who started at the same time I did. The third is not old enough yet, but not for long

We currently foil fence only and use a french grip so we can get better at our point control.

I have a large interest in the armory and all the equipment involved in scoring, since I have a background in computers and animatronics (I am currently teaching myself wireless-firmware design and programming)

I also am interested in building tools for practice/play at home, so I'm looking forward to picking people's brains for information I can use. I can also share the plans/blueprints/schematics of the designs I come up with on my own. I'm looking forward to talkting to everyone. Thanks!
