Array Threading problem I have shortened the tang of an old french blade to use in a pistol grip, but found that the tang is wider than the mouth of the die. I've kicked myself blackand blue for not simply extending the existing thread before cutting, but is there a way to proceed, or is it off to the machine shop for me? -

Array Take a file and round off the top of the tang to make it small enough to getm the die stated or if you have a beach grinder rotate the tang small enough to start the die. Since it not a FIE blade you so be able to use the file menotd. Tim Loomis
