Colors?

The USFA's Athlete Handbook says the FIE requires a country's colors be printed on fencers' clothes for FIE tourneys The text specifies, "The national colors for USA are the 'shooting stars.'"

The USFA Bylaws state our organization's colors are "dark blue and gold."

Are our current shooting stars actually dark blue and gold? I thought they were red, white and blue.

Here are the national colors and logos required by the FIE. For the US the shooting stars are red-white-blue.

I say the USA change its colors to be more in line with those of the USFA!
