For multiple locations, add more entries and fill in the dates/times to meet at that location in the "description" field. Keep the relevant contact information for each location.
This map search will be a "show me what's close to me" not a "give me a contact list to call".
I've finished GA and had a club with multiple locations that I already treated in this way. You can see how I treated it in this attachment.

| I'll take care of North Carolina, but it might take me a few days to complete it. Is that ok?
When finished, would you like us to attach them to a post here, or e-mail you, or what? |

| Here is the Plains Texas Division list and if you'd like I can work on the Rocky Mountain Section but it might take me about a week or so to get that big of an area done.

| I think it's probably best to do it a division at a time, since it allows people to claim a manageable amount of work, while still leaving what's not yet done clearly available for new volunteers to help out.
So far done:
Georgia
Plains Texas
Claimed:
North Texas
South Texas
North Carolina
Unclaimed:
Everything else |

If so, ping me for details and what regions/countries you are signing up for. Most of the data is on the federation web sites and just needs to be pulled.
Craig | You're going to hit a snitch for Europe: aside from the UK, I don't think Google Maps works for many countries in Europe, which is quite a shame.

Attached is a sample spreadsheet with all the needed fields. I have "address" fields and "mailing address" fields because some clubs list a PO Box which is okay for mailing but does not help with google maps, so you have to go to the site to get the address for their actual practice location.
Please respond with what state(s)/section you can take on. Send the completed files to me at craig at fencing.net
Hopefully we can get this knocked out quickly and have an up to date listing soon.
Thanks,
Craig |
I don't mind doing this for the BayCup (Cencal, Norcal, Mtvalley) area, it's all in one central webpage anyway, just copy pasting.

But, since 90% of this site's traffic is the US, I want that knocked out first.

Craig | Yes, but even then, you'll lose all the nice features of Google Maps, such as street names, directions to-from, and so forth....
You'll still get the satellite pictures though...

I'll do the Indiana division. I'll have it for you by the end of the week.

| Here's the latest The USFA provided me with a full listing of club addresses. I pulled out the PO Boxes and populated the following map: http://www.zeesource.net/maps/map.do?group=2011
I've imported all of the records into the map integrated into the Fencing.Net site (the Joomla component) but there must be some field in another database table that I'm missing because even though all of the records are there the map comes up blank.
This zeesource map is, however, a very good next step.
