    Northern Atlantic Veterans tourney

The venue was changed at the last minute, the T-shirts were late, the web site went down, my hotel reservation was given away--so how come I had one of the best times I've ever had? Well, for one thing, because the organizers more than coped with everything and still delivered. It was a very enjoyable event, with lots of good fencing, neat awards, and an excellent clambake afterwards. And the hotel paid for my room elsewhere.

I also met Shadow, and watched her fence--she looks good!

My foot hurts and I was stupid to do it but it sounded like so much fun (and I could combine it with a visit to my daughter, who goes to Brandeis and whose birthday is Monday) that I couldn't resist.

    Hi Peach!
It was a blast meeting you too! And thank you for your compliment of my fencing. This tourny was incredible and I plan on participating next year. It was everything a fencer could want...good fencing.... creative trophies....good eats and good comraderie!!

    Hope your foot is better.

Because of this site, we had an instantaneous connection! Thanks to Craig!
I live to fence and fence to live!!

Gladys Berardi told me you were the one she was most nervous about in her pool. Which is my favorite kind of compliment. There is one coach to whom (the mother of one of his fencers told me) I am "that girl" (said in an annoyed tone) and I cherish the thought.

Boy that was fun. I'm doing it again too.

What were the "creative trophies" like? We could use some ideas in the Michigan Division.
