Disappeared?

After getting this new design, some things have "disappeared".... Can anyone tell where are the reviews, journals, arcade games and photo galleries gone?

But the most annoying thing is what I just noticed; despite my default settings for thread subscription (I've set it to 'Do not subscribe' it still adds a subscription for every thread that I post in!

(As of post-upgrade.)

Most annoying! Could this be fixed please..?

There was a memo on the main page saying that journals and photo albums were going to be unavailable for awhile, during the "upgrade" process. I'm sure they'll be back eventually.

I just got done going through all of the Journal page to confirm that they are working correctly:

Now I just need to update that in the NavBar template at the top.

Arcade is gone for now.

The Photo Gallery and Classifieds section aren't playing well with the new forum database structure so I'm researching that one now.

Also playing around with the new features and abilities of this version of the software. Makes administration a lot better and looks like adding features will be easier.

I believe the subscription error is fixed now. I've tested it out and I'm not getting unwanted subscribe notices anymore.

Ummm. While we're on the subject of "disappeared."

In WinXP Pro, using both Firefox and IE, I cannot seem to find the "Yes! Post a Poll!" checkbox that the FAQ claims is there. Either: I am blind, blonde, or dumb, and it's there and I have issues, or something more has vanished, namely, said checkbox. As long as you're looking around anwyay...

...I just noticed a couple of other things that would be great if they also could be fixed:

• Left clicking on a users profile and choosing to view it used to open that persons profile in a new window. Not so anymore.
• Adding Rep/Cool points used to open a handy pop-up for adding points and a comment.
  Now it opens in the same window, and when done with adding I'm left in a 'Reputation Points' area of some sorts and have to manually browse back to where I was reading.

More edit: You need to click the 'Edit Post' button twice to enter edit mode.
The good news is that the top right 'Log Out' button now is working ok. (Which it hasn't done since your last upgrade I believe, at least not for me.)

Personally, I like keeping away from pop-ups. I'll see if that is a template options.

I had the reason to try this out now and it seems to have been fixed now. I was also taken back to the thread and post I repped.
(I swear it was not working when I posted, I would not have pointed it out had it been ok.)

Still, I think the smaller pop-up looked better, but as long as it works... *shrug*


As for profile pics not working, you could have a look at my profile -- no pic.

Try uploading your picture again. My picture was gone too, but it seems fine now that I've uploaded it again.

Hmmm... not for my profile. It's when I view other's. I can no longer see ZZ's smiling face in her profile. I checked a couple others too.

For some reason that directory got wiped out. Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to look through my site backup. It may just be better to have people go ahead and reupload their profile pics.

I'm looking at some changes to the profile page that will allow for a larger profile picture to be uploaded, so I may be sending out a note to members in the next month to re-update that anyway!
