Array ROTC juggling Without trying to make it too long:
Can I be a cadet of good standing, with a biochem major, and be a student-athlete? The last part being serious-phensir-ness.
I was an AFROTC cadet until I realized that I was failing most of my classes. I quit, and now my grades are half-arsed-decent (I'm barely getting by). I plan on returning this coming fall, but my main worry is that I won't be able to handle the whole "well-rounded" ideal. I'm only a biochem major because I have aspirations to become a doctor, and I'm considering becoming a pilot, or intell officer.
My main issue is whether or not I will have enough time/sanity to really be the best cadet, fencer, and future-savior-of-the-world in college. Any thoughts would be helpful... I am not young enough to know everything. -Oscar Wilde- -

Array See I expected some mention of Drill Team when you said ROTC juggling. -

Array I've certainly known people who can successfully do all. But it really comes down to what works for you. Not sure we can really help with that much. Based just on your first post I'd suggest that you've already discovered that it won't be easy. Doesn't mean it can't be done, but you might want to seriously consider only doing 2 out of the 3. What's most important to you? How important is the rest?

Array Then maybe you can answer why, when I was at Coach's College and I was trying to take pictures of all the instructors I coulnd't manage to get one of Zoila where she was actually still enough for me to get a good picture? I didn't want to turn the flash on so I had to leave it exposed a little longer than usual.
For like all the other instructors I was able to get one, but not Zoila. -

For like all the other instructors I was able to get one, but not Zoila. Just one of her super-powers. :)
