Array Rolling points update Any idea how long it takes for the USFA office to update the rolling points lists?
Just curious to see how the standings change after Pittsburgh. Anyone know where the details about what points are awarded and how soon the old stuff ages is kept?
Which manuals? -

Array You mean the rollings points standings referred to in THIS thread (and currently available on the USFA website)?
With regards to manual, the Athlete's Handbook is probably what you're looking for.

-B How interesting. You have the points but they aren't posted to the USFA site. The postings on the USFA site do not have the Dec 2005 points. Also point of curiousity but are standings based on total points? As the file you pointed me to show show me with 616 points as sixth while Kaz with 554 as 5th. No big deal. But it also has Ray Sexton with 616 points ranked higher than Jim Adams with 736. This is in the Vet60 ME Originally Posted by oiuyt With regards to manual, the Athlete's Handbook is probably what you're looking for.
-B Thats the one. Thanks. -

The Vet-60 ME doc however doesn't have the standings correctly sorted by the "total" column. See the thread started by dknj (and mentioned by oiuyt) for the email address of someone at the USFA to point that out to and get it corrected. -

The updated file has not been posted as of 12/21/05 at 13:27 PST. I'm looking at it and the Dec 2005 NAC has "np" in all positions. Must be some sort of glitch with duplicate files somewhere. I went in from the USFA's home page ->"National Standings"-> "Veteran-60 Men's Epee" and got what must be the old pdf. I'll look for the thread you mention.
Thanks. -

Array Do a refresh or something, Jonathan, your result is up there listing you taking third at the Dec 2005 Vet-60 NAC. -

Sent Corinne an e-mail. So maybe we can kill this thread.

Array There's nothing for USFA to do. I go to their website and see the Vet-60 NAC rankings including the December 2005 event. You took third, Arnold Messing was 1st, James Adams was second.
Your ranking is currently 6th with 616 points. The top-5 are:
Joe Elliott, 1408
Arnold Messing, 1485
Ray Sexton, 616
James Adams, 736
Kaz Campe, 554
Why they're not sorted correctly, I don't know. -

Array They don't have all of the results posted, from what I can see. For example, in men's vet-40 events, saber and foil are current, but epee still shows Dec 2004 results.

Why they're not sorted correctly, I don't know. Just got a response from Corinne with a corrected pdf which I can see on the website. So I'm happy - about getting the post not about how well I'm doing. Seeing it in black and white brings it all home about how much work I need to do. -
