    It is the year 2028...

    Hi!

And f101 has put its print on the world!

It all began in 2008, when the first duel in France since 1956 made the headlines. "The mysterious French Englishman" as was his nom-de-guerre, challenged the Rene Roch to a decisive (i.e. not to first blood) duel over the foil rules. Surprisingly, RR took on the challenge. This made foil rules frontpage stuff in the French papers. RR won that bout with a penetrating flick, which made the concept of flick household knowledge. The video - and its ghastly ending - was shown all over the world - Fox News, BBC, FR1, even Al Jazeera - and the ensuing media flurry secured fencing in the OG.

Now, the youngest president since Kennedy has just won the election. President Ballew, at only 38 years of age, is now the most powerful man on earth. He won the election in no small part by taking to heart two lessons from the president Kerry, 2012-2020. The lessons learned were: Try again, and let your rich wife pay for the campaign. The latter was accomplished by First Lady Paris (nee Hilton) endless coffers.

As a good-will gesture to other fencers, he has quickly appointed several fencers to high posts. Mr. In-the-four, a sabreur, has been given the job to oversee the statistics division of IRS, and also doubles as a presidential adviser on the cryptography mathematics analysis part of NSA. In his latter function, he needs to spy on some of the best mathematicians of the world, who are working in a French University. The First lady came up with his perfect cover - he is also given the task of looking at all the fashion shows in the French capital, ostensibly to be her personal shopper.

Shortly before the election, the UN has organized a poll where respondents were asked to name the person which they thought was most representative of various foreign countries. For the USA, ReverseLunge won the male title, with Slim right on his heels. Mango was in contention for the female title, but finished lower down.

Ess and ZZ have been married for a long time. During the honeymoon, Ess bought a lottery ticket, which turned out to win the PowerBall. Not needing to work anymore, they immediatley took up residence in Tauberbischofsheim, and can fence to their heart´s content all day. Their son had a teenage sturm-und-drang period - he took lessons from Sabreur.

Nusy has been an Hungarian MEP for a long time, and has become chairperson of the automatic translation program going at the EU Brussels office, now that EU comprises over 40 languages.

Over in USFA, the competitions collapsed under their own weight way back in 2007, and after a protracted acrimonious fight, the USFA had to acknowledge that the only way out of the mess was to clone the Bay Cup all over the country, and make Edew run them. That solved the problem.

You fill in the rest of the story!

    Have a nice time!

Fencergrl and Go? Fencing? (and her husband-in-law) retired in a nice spot in the country. The house includes a fencing strip and is surrounded by a multitude of nut bearing trees, providing well rounded nutrition (and fencing energy) for Go? and all her furry relatives (that provide plenty of nutrition and fencing energy for fencergrl).

Go? Has kept her slim figure by doing plenty of running and dodging. Fencergrl finally completed the first ever Squirrel Recipe Book, but was disappointed by the slow sales and that Go?’s relatives made bedding out of several boxes of the books.

Many of the chicks of F-Net gather to visit on a regular basis for visiting drinking, fencing and more drinking. Notably, Mari, S’wench, Zelda Corrnflower Pauli, Fencergal 33 Melihop & ,ZZ …Ess came along once, but refuses to return or discuss what happened other than say “Those women are crazy and all men should keep their distance when they get together”.

Naturally with gatherings of fencing women Latenight, Needle, Mr. Epee, Morm, Westley and JackofHearts have tried to sneak into these gatherings. Those that did poorly as drink butlers and feeding us chocolate dipped strawberries were duct taped to a pillar and used for practicing our point control…. Westley hasn’t been back since.

Much to Fencergal33’s disappointment, her son turned his back on sabre and became an epeeist. He won the Gold in the Olympics 2 times and is going for a third time before he retires from competing.

Even though Inq rather ancient, he is still fencing sabre…. He’s winning not so much on his skill, but his odour (from lack of bathing). If you think a young sabre fencer smells bad…. Well it gets even worse as the years of sweat and grime builds. Many fencers’ eyes tear up just from being in the same room much less the same strip. It is rumoured he died sometime in the early 2020’s but no one can get near enough to remove his mask.
