Looking for East Bay, CA foil folks... Hey all,
I started foil lessons a while back, and I'm looking for folks in the East Bay (Richmond, Oakland, Berkeley) who'd like a practice partner. I'm a member of Halberstadt, but it takes an hour by BART to get there - time I'd rather spend practicing.
My name is Christopher Wing, and my email is walkskiprunglide@hotmail.com. I'm 35, and live in the Richmond Hills.
Thanks!

Give a call to clubs closer to you (http://www.norcalfence.org/clubs.htm) - most of them allow non-member to come and fence during their open fencing hours (sometimes there's a small "floor fee"). -

Array Suggest trying Pacific Fencing Club in Alameda. This is Harold Hayes club and I consider him one of the finest teachers I've ever run into in any subject. The club itself is one of the neatest looking clubs you could ever find. Just check out all the peep holes in the doors Not to mention the rotunda ceiling. And the price is probably the best going. I would still be there but Foil is their game and epee is my love. Similar Threads -
