Array Does Leon Paul do stenciling? I'm planning on getting myself a new pair of fencing breeches. I'm looking at the LP Atlanta variety. Since I botched the job I did myself on my current pair I was thinking it would be wise to have my name stenciled by someone who knows what they are doing. I looked at the LP USA site but couldn't find any reference to a stenciling service. Is it offered? Fail until you succeed!

My experience is that by having it done locally you can get it done cheaper, faster, and skip the shipping expenses. Plus you'll get to share fencing with one more person in the community. :-)
Yes, some fencing suppliers will do it for you "in-house", but it's still mail order and if the fit isn't quite right, you had better hope your name is Smith or Jones to get a good exchange. Take your time. Read carefully. -

They won't stencil it there because then you would not be able to return the garment if the sizing is incorrect. Bill Murphy, who is currently acting as their service representative answering emails, etc., is planning on offering stencing. I'm not sure how the process would work, but I think it would be something along the lines of: you receive the garment, make sure sizing is correct, send to Bill to do stenciling, Bill sends it back. My guess is that the process isn't fully worked out yet, which is why the service isn't offered yet.
Mr. Epee makes a good point in that you could probably get the same work done locally and save yourself on the time and dollars to ship back and forth. Also, if you are going to a NAC, Marx and ProPrintWear are there to do the stenciling.

Stenciling By Leon PaulUSA Although this isn't on our web site yet, stenciling service giving name and or country in dark blue is offered by Leon Paul USA. Once you have received the item that you ordered and are certain that it fits you properly, return it to Leon Paul USA and they will put your name on it for a cost of $25. We have done a lot of testing including multi washing after stenciling and the special formulated dye we use gives one of the best/longest life marking available.
We are presently negotiating being able to mark the USA country strip, which we hope will be available shortly. Barry Paul M.D. Leon Paul Similar Threads -
