Design on uniform or not?

Hey, i just wanted to check how many of you have just a white outfit, or have something that has some design or color to it.

The only part of the outside of my uniform that is not white or black is my glove, which is one of those purple and tan ones.

Also, my jacket has a tiny bit of red and blue on it, but that doesn't count.

I have a small red emblem on my glove and jacket, though I'm going to replace my jacket soon. Other then that, no color, really.

White jacket; royal blue knickers. If I'm going to fence like a clown, I may as well look like one.

If I could lose just a few dozen more pounds, I'd try to squeeze back into my old white FIE knickers...

My mask is red. The stitching on the outside of my jacket and pants is red and blue (Estoc FIE), and I have my club patch (green, yellow, black) on my left arm. Shoes are Stabil 5s colored black, silver, blue and red by myself, and socks have "UMass" in maroon on them.

That's about it.

You ought to fence with MP's favor tied to the retaining tongue of your mask.

My mask, lame and over-glove are all that charming off-silver space suit color.

They are pretty plain, though, so I will add the inevitable gratuitous observation about the flawed nature of this poll.

My jacket and knickers are plain old boring white, with occasional Border Collie hair.

No lady's favors, alas.

it doesn't have a retaining tongue so much as the LP "contour fit system"......

but i agree.

{edit: in the next version of the LP mask, there ought to be a "favor retaining" system incorporated into the "contour fit" system.... : D }

For my sins I have a blinding-red sabre lame. It wasn't my choice--that's what my coach had handy in his bag when my plain silver one failed in Tampa. I'm condemned to look like a red grape until I rot out this one.

I actually have the adidas stripe jacket with the stripes thoroughly faded, but no one ever sees it because the sabre lame covers it. The matching trousers are still around, even more faded and with the velcro kaput.

Can't you dye it silver?

My condolences. I'd think your coach might at least have gotten a peach-colored lame just as a precaution...

Around? As in on the outside of? I dunno. Though I do wear a bandanna under my mask.

I would think that if there is any chance of a weapon being caught by the object around the uniform (headband, armband, whatever), that might be a problem. I've definitely seen armbands and legbands, but nothing around the torso or the mask.

My breeches are white with national 'panels' (blue and yellow). My jacket is white with a club patch (blue and yellow) and a swedish flag (blue and yellow). My mask is the allstar dark blue one and my socks are usually allstar. Or white with some coloured stripe or something.

And I always wear a bandana since I hate getting my hair in my eyes and face whilst fencing.

I like piping or pinstriping. France Lames was doing that for a while, but are they around any more? The Duellist evolution uniforms are the way to go for that right now. All white with just a touch of color - pretty sexy. But hey, what do I know, I just shovel poop all day.

Do you have any pictures of this? I've always admired the Swedish flag (and Gustavus Adolphus, but that's a different matter).
