Moderator/Announcements Sub forum?

It's justa thought, be the stickies in the Water Cooler section, and other announcements, could be put in a seperate moderator section. Whether anyone would look at them ... that's another question ... what does everyone think?

I think that's a good idea. (At least I know I would look there.)

I think it would be a good idea. I don't think a lot of people read them anyway. It should go right under Fencing News.

I look in every forum above Fantasy Land, and in Comments and Suggestions, if it shows new posts. So I'd read 'em in a separate forum...as long as it didn't make my browser freeze up, like the Fencing News one does.

But I am probably not typical, and I don't find them unduly troublesome where they are, either. So I haven't a real preference one way or the other.

I think that they would not often be read, but I don't think they're read often as it is.

Possibly the best solution would be to post them as a sticky at the top of the applicable area, then move them to this new forum after a week or two? The new forum would then be for moderator announcements that most everyone has already read.

I woudl be very unlikely to look in another subforum..... If they were put in both that might work,. and than removed later from the main page, that could work...... But I would be unlikely to remember to look somewhere like that unless i was bored and looking at EVERY thread...
