Crazy mishaps!

Any mishaps that you want to share, for the amusement of others?

I will start with what happend to me this Wednesday: It was cold, so my car would not start. I had to push the thing into the parking lot square again (the lot is inclined, so that is heavy work) and had my son to push the footbrake when the car was in position. He did so, and I went up to the driver´s seat to help him. I put the gear stick into reverse, and then pulled the handbrake.

Then the handbrake wire snapped. WTF??? A 3mm diameter steel wire snapping? Crappy Volvo quality, or was I jinxed? Bad luck likes company.
