Make sure you add Oxiwash for a nice fresh smell.
How often do you think you should wash your glove??
It is not that complex of a question. A friend will bail you out of jail,
a true friend will help you hide the body...: ) -

Array I only wash them occasionally. Though a number of my pals seem to take a strange pride in their dirty gloves, especially if they've had it for a long amount of time. -

Array Yeah, about every 8-10 weeks or so, but that will vary. It varies because I usually have my "normal" glove, and a newer one that I wear occasionally to start breaking it in.
I generally dislike the feel of a brand new out-of-the-package glove, and like to have a hot backup that has seen some action.

Array For my first eight years or so of fencing, I really, REALLY liked the Santelli high-end "deerskin" glove. The only problem was that it wasn't washable.
So while I still feel that no other glove fit as well, boy did it get gross after six months of sweating through it every day. For a long time I kept a really old one in my fencing bag just to gross people out. -

Array Wash?????? Helloooo, I fence epee. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. And from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moment, lost in time. Gone, like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die" -Phil Ken Sebben -

Array When I can locate it by scent alone.
Some of the club gear gloves are rather crunchy though. -

Also, when you notice your glove leaving marks on your whites if you brush your hand against it, you also *know* its time to wash the glove... -

Array I wash mine about once a month. That seems to be the right length of time before the glove starts to really smell unpleasant. -

Array I wash my glove when I was my kit. Which is after every practice. About once a week I Fabreeze (well, the Yankee Candle Company Lavendar scented version of Fabreeze) my shoes, mask and the pocket of the fencing bag that carries all my smelly kit home from practice.
The people who wear the same kit day after day without washing it blow my mind. I just could not do it. Of course it helps to have a few sets of whites and shoes to rotate through. If I only had one set I might consider going a couple of practices between washings, but no less than once a week! Just another lost soul saved by the (hit) First Church of EPEE!
