    Who's next?

Who's next on the Invasion Dance Card?
Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action.

Invading Syria would be stupid. Invading Iran would be really, really, stupid. That's why I went with Syria.

I don't think we're going to invade anyone in the foreseeable future. We're already effectively fighting on two fronts. A third would put us past the operational parameters of our existing military infrastructure. Some surgical strikes are probably in the queue though. We'll probably have Israel take care of the 'Iran' problem. We may strike at Syria, probably before the 2006 election, just to remind everyone that we are still at 'War' and that they shouldn't switch horses midstream, even if the horse's nose is underwater and drowning from the onslaught of the raging current....

Let's just hope that Canada doesn't finally decide to move South. With the condition of our military, we would have difficulty fighting a protracted engagement against a couple of well-organized Boy Scout troops.

Yeah, it would suck to get taken over by Canada. I can imagine it now, they would move in, and give us all health care. The bastards.

Yes, but only after reprinting all the forms in English AND French. Do you really think that escaping the possibility of losing your house because you have to pay for medical treatment for a heart condition is worth having to eat poutine and end every sentence with 'eh'? You need to look at the big picture.

    What is poutine?
A vulture boards an airplane, carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looks at him and says, "I'm sorry, sir, only one carrion allowed per passenger."

    What country?

Well if you believe Paul Hellyer, Canada’s Defence Minister from 1963-67, Bush has led the military to already invade the Moon and is planning an invasion of the Lesser Magelleanic Cloud (or another, yet unspecified, galaxy) .....

This poll is flawed, if for no other reason than it does not have my pick for country most likely to be invaded before 08. I would tend to vote for a regime change or policing action in Venezuela. No WMD's to speak off, limited international support, domestic unrest and not much of a military to speak off. In short a really slow, fat, wimpy kid on the playground (and one who is pretty good at running his mouth and hanging out with the wrong crowd) and not far from the end of the swings we hang out in. Sounds like Bush's sort of fight.

Nethertheless, I think the majority of the people of this nation will greet them as liberators.

You forgot oil, lots and lots of oil. Which they are giving below costs to liberal bastions such as Massachusetts. The insolence!!

Yeah, it's time we got our own back. Are we still paying reparations?
Just because you have the right, that doesn't mean it is right.
