Array They have worked great for me, I use to have d'arts 2, but I wore a hole through them really fast, I'm a back foot dragger. But with the hitechs, and the rubber sole extentions work wonders, no holes whatsoever. I like the insulation too, they keep my feet stationary inside the shoe and able to get the maximum control and efficency out of my foot work.
Also, I believe the shoes are ok looking, could be better. -

Array These rate as the best fencing shoe I've ever had. Finally a shoe that is wide enough, the new adidas were painfully narrow and wore out within a month. They felt a bit stiff the first day, but after that they just fine. I particularly like the "brake" on the side of the shoe so that your foot returns to the normal position. The kids in our club who have them have mentioned that they felt it saved them from a few ankle sprains when they landed slightly off. -
Great fencing shoes, I only have a couple of problems with them.
They seem pretty stiff still, even though I have been wearing them 4 nights a week since january. The grip on the bottom is wearing off aswell, especially around the toe of both of my feet.
Another thing is that the sole of the shoe isn't very comfortable, they give you no padding from the hard floors and pistes you fence on.
Otherwise they're a great shoe.
One more thing, if you released them in a white color scheme I would totally buy another pair. =). Similar Threads -
