    Hey!

    I'm new to fencing, and i think i like fencing and am willing to make this commitment of spending this big amount of money for equipment. I'm 15 turning 16 in a month, my name is xi (pronounced c) and I live in long island, New York. I go to New York City very often and I'm looking for stores in New York City. I'm in the tenth grade and got chosen to do FOIL...i hear it's good, but i kinda wanted to do epee or sabre...

    Why not try them all? Welcome to the sport. I hope you enjoy your stay. Epee does seem to be rather popular, though I prefer Saber, myself. Foil is my primary weapon however, and its fine to stick with that. Welcome to the forum, and watch out for the trolls.
