List of confirmed entries for NAC C ? Is is too much to expect from USFA?
Hint: something like askfred.net would provide realtime online registration
with online payments, no faxes or other paperwork required.....
and it is ready to use NOW !!!

I'm sure I'll get it to post next week. This highlights the whole problem with the system. It gets faxed in, then entered by hand, then that list is sent to someone else to post online, and someone else to seed for the tournament...
Even if we could eliminate ONE of those steps by the use of a good OIM (Online Information Management) system (like, oh, I dunno, FRED?) it would save the USFA time and money. If the system is setup where the USFA is APPROVING entries instead of entering them... well, now we're talking about saving some serious bucks. That's it, I'm done with the discussion forums on F.net. It's had its uses, but the ideologues, ranters, and "experts" have drowned too many of the conversations. I'm changing my password to something random and never logging in again. -

Any savings will be transferred into the "support our elite fencers and our burocracy" account. Sorry, for being cynical. They will argue that the online service is costing them money and thus, need to charge us more to register. I wouldn't mind if the service is at the level than AskFred provides already for FREE, and if AskFred is the choosen service, I would support a small fee per person per event for the ability to archive and search all my results, bouts, etc. on-line in a relative quick manner as Askfred does. -
