Array Greetings From Sunny Sunderland! Hey all!
Just a quick nod and a hello to everyone on the forums, and a brief introduction.
I'm a member of Sunderland University fencing club, and have been for about two and a half years now. I'm a rarity in our club in that I'm a sabreur, rather than being a jack-of-all-trades. I've done a reasonable amount of competing in Busa competitions, and look to enter more individual competitions in the new year.
Hope this message finds you all well, and I look forward to getting to know some of you over time.

Array That's where, the UK?
Welcome aboard, we can always use another sabre fencer to raise the class of this place ( oh so many epeeists about, you see ). -

Array Yup, that's the UK.
And it's nice to be in a place where I can talk to other equally-enlightened people. Being the sole sabreur in a club can really be a drain. Listening to all the foilists and epeeists harping on is enough to drive you mad. Sure, I put up with their taunts, because I accept that they are all misguided, but it's nice to talk to normal people once in a while.
