My only defense is that I have been injured seriously enough twice that I had to take multiple year breaks. I've stuck with it because I like it, alot. I was making gains and would have got my 'C' two seasons ago, but I injured my elbow.

DFP, I expect assinine comments from RL because he is an ***. I know that you are a dedicated fencer, I respect that. However, your attitude is lacking. I don't take your remarks personal, but I'm not the only non-uber-competitive fencer in this country or world. I've made mistakes with my fencing but I would never degrade someone else's fencing merely because they haven't earned a letter. Fortunately, I know that there are considerably more fencers like Amadeus out there than RL. That's why I stick with the sport even though the last injury pretty much crushed my Olympic hopes. 
For the record, you should devote some time to learning what sarcasm is, it goes far in 'reading' certain social situations.
OK. My last post on the topic. Which I'm sure will all but guarantee that ReversedLunch will post again...
