Hey I hope everyone is good wherever you are. I am just saying hello, and hoping someone knows of a place to fence here in Chicago. I am a college student, and a single parent of a child who likes to scare me to death attempting to fence with my foil and gear on...If anyone knows of an affordable place to fence that is not far from North Chicago area. Maybe one with a family rate so we can both fence, that would be good. If you want to drop a line about anything. Write away. -Monique

Hi Monique,
The first place you would want to check is www.il-usfa.org. That is the Illinois division web site, and it has a link listing most (all?) clubs in the area. Chicago Athletic Association (www.caafc.com) has the strongest foil in the area, but it is more expensive than others. You might also try looking at the Chicago Fencing Club (www.chicagofencingclub.com). There are also a few other clubs around (just check the list on the division website). Hope you can find something that suits you.

Well I live in the UK so iam not a good person to ask on US clubs , but good luck in fencing and i hope you enjoy it !!!!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your fencing. I hope you soon find a good club at which to practice fencing. Especially if there is a family rate, so you can train with your kid. A great bonding experience!
