Team Tournaments

What do you think of having another team tournament during the year at a NAC or something.

That event is the best in fencing. Everyone who does it knows it's the best.

At my club, when we have a ton of foil people, we have our own team tournament. I just wish there would be more.

Anyone agree?!

Sorry, not me. Even in team events the bouts are still one-on-one, individual contests. It's that contest that attracted me to fencing in the first place. I prefer to fence, not root or sit deciding that "We should let X fence, he's/she's "our" best shot". ( And yes, I've done team events in my day. )

I'm a yes vote. I love team events.

An occasional team event is fun, as is a mixed double...but I'm not a team player. That's why I started fencing to begin with.
