For the record, it's a damn long drive from central Texas to Oklahoma City, but it was a very good tournament.
I haven't any idea what Terry Harkey (or Matt or Deana) did to make the results classification information come out some messed up, but they have a sign for that. Anyway, the actual standings are correct, as far as my memory goes: http://askfred.net/Results/results.p...nament_id=1280
Jim Carpenter did win Men's Epee. Men's Foil ended up substantially stronger than expected. -

My prediction for ME and WE at the Oz Parsons: Carpenter and Scarborough uber alles, respectfully. Prediction 1 - well, won Heavy Metal ME
Prediction 2 - on target -

The bout between Scarborough and Kaylee French was a thing of beauty to be sure! French jumped out to an early lead, and then Scarborough fought back first to tie it and then win at the very end, using a very precise application of distance. Scarborough would wait for French to finish a lunge and then counterattack as French was redoubling into a second lunge. Very nicely done indeed. That's it, I'm done with the discussion forums on F.net. It's had its uses, but the ideologues, ranters, and "experts" have drowned too many of the conversations. I'm changing my password to something random and never logging in again. -
