    Armourer$

I have been doing reapirs at my club for awhile now. The club pays me a hourly wage. The coach says I should charge for the services I provide to other fencers. I have no idea what to charge. Can you help me out here. What do you guys charge and for what type of repairs?

Its Depends on what I am doing rewires at NAC is 17.00 labor plus parts. American Fencers changes 20.00 plus parts and Santelli the same. Fencing Post is 18.00 plus parts Blade and Allstar is 20.00 plus parts. Blue Gaulet at there shop is 10.00 plus parts. At home here is 10.00 plus parts. Adjust and cleaning of tips is 6.00 at NACS and 5.00 at home. Checking out a weapon at NAC is 5.00. My overhead at a NAC IS High so I have to cover the cost at NAC. With the cost of the booth and what I am charged for power.
    I Hope this helps.

I generally charge $5 per weapon plus parts. Or supervise them fixing it for free. (plus parts)

For foil rewires, I go $10...$5 for the weapon and $5 for the labor. Anything else I'm not sure about bcause I haven't learned more than that yet.

    Hello,
Nice to see you expanding your horizons.

Talk to your customers in a fake French accent. Charge $40 per rewire and guarantee it for the life of the weapon. When somebody brings a faulty weapon back, blame it on the wire manufacturer and charge another $20 to rewire. If the customer disagrees for whatever reason, spank your butt and tell them to go away, but say it in French.

Spounds like to me that you all selling your self short. Don't forget you may have to replace tools and dermal wheels and pieces. I started out with a price list at a Nationals and the customera kept marking thur the prices and raise them. The new prices I have now also came from my customers at NACS. Not everyone liks to do there own work .
