C is a very bad choice. I tried that once and it totally backfired on me. When I stood up I lifted up the table on my side and spilled all the food and drinks on her lap.

The thing I appreciate about the mormons is that they believe in equality when it comes to all people under God. All races may attend a Mormon church service without predjudice. Whites and orientals occupy the front and middle rows while Latino and Eastern Block Europeans get the final rows in the back and blacks are allowed to worship from the parking lot.

I'm going to go with the age bit being very important. But other signs include eye contact, repeatedly initiation conversation possibly of the inane variety (outgoing, but not that secure), or avoiding speaking in front of you (shy).

Or if you're that much younger, there's pulling hair, running away from your cooties, etc.

My personal favourite is to start talking to a girl about cooties, that's always fun.

It's usually obvious if a guy likes you (well, from a guys perspective..easy to see when other guys like a girl), he'll talk to you alot, stuff like that.

Ask someone who knows both of you- other people are usually better at seeing things that for you aren't objective at all.

At this point to me it seems pretty obvious when a guy likes me, but that's because I'm out of the closet now and trying to figure out how to tell when a GIRL likes me, which is much harder.

Well all of us are such good friends, including the guy I like, that the whole 'initiating a conversation' deal doesn't really show much, because all of us talk together non-stop. He does seem to single me out from the other girls in our circle of friends, but they're all ready paired off with the guys, so it might just be the fact that I'm the only one not plopped in a guy's lap.

A persons age doesn't matter. I'm nearly 20 and guys still confuse me with liking me or not. You could be 30 and have a guy hitting on you and not know it. Everyone has their tricks of hiding it if they don't want you to know.

Also getting off the mormon kick would be nice, I know a lot of mormons and the ones I know are good people. Not to mention Polygamy is just as illegal in Utah as it is in the rest of the country.

There have been three guys that I've known have liked me.
Guy A) smacked me in the butt followed by calling me at the very least of 2 times a day.
Guy B) dating my friend then tried for me, then stalked both of us.
Guy C) was my ex. Dating kinda says 'hey I like ya'

Other then that, I'm pretty much clueless. I'm pretty sure lil and I aren't the only ones and I KNOW its not solely because of our age.

It has very little to do with age, and much to do with experience and confidence. The confident, experienced guys tend to be older. The reverse goes for reading the signals. The more confident and experienced you are the easier it is to read the signals of the opposite gender.

Since you're asking, I'm assuming you think that a guy is showing interest in you. Odds are, he probably is. Just trust your instincts.
