Lame bath-time
I need to wash my lame, but I'm not quite sure how to do it and keep it alive. Won't washing it give it dead spots? Please give very specific directions on how to saftely wash lame material, because I'm totally paranoid about getting dead spots.
And now for this message...

And of course Gav is quite correct. This thread had some good advice on this particular topic:

I wash mine gently in the sink (all spread out) with Woolite, then rinse well, towel off, and hang to dry. I've never had a problem. A friend of mine hangs his in the shower and lets it wash off that way. Another guy put his through a full washing machine cycle and wound up with a lame that doesn't work anymore (though he suspects it's just because it was a cheap one). Your mileage may vary.

That's what I do also. One cap full of woolite and cold water. Works just fine.
