Heh...Im sure its good for neurons to get a little extra, unnatural voltage that makes them fire without valid electrochemical gradient changes. Yeah, in fact!sounds like the best idea ever to me! I think Ill buy one for my kids one day, *especially* if its said to make video games more REALISTIC.

as for the potential for the technology...shrug ^.^

Trying to make videogames more realistic? Yea freaking right! They've been controlling roaches with such devices for decades! Just watch, they're going to implant these things in people once RFID tags take off. Then the government is going to have complete control.

Can't think of any other practical application this may have anyways. *shrugs*

Nah. They need something to fill their time now that their TVs, mp3 players, DVD players, CD players, and computers are subpar. In fact, other than their motorcycles and food, they don't really give us much these days. That's what happens when your economy is built around taking other people's products, making them a little better, and selling them for reasonable prices. (except Sony who does the same thing and then charges WAY too much)
This device, of course, will be bought by the US military and used for "good".

Japan - Robots - I can do that.

Japan has no spirit, they admire robots and do everything 'perfectly'. Some wear their hair like helmits; they don't speak with people, not even basic returns of greetings. They want to put nuclear stuff in Japan, and they don't care about things, because they want to agree with everyone, that's their basic culture. Right now, ten people are protesting this based on the fact that they ate lunch with 'one', or slept with 'one'.

Even Japanese people that I know fairly well, have childish ideas about 'world peace' and 'world hunger'. They prefer angst, and post wwII stuff, like post hitler stuff, right now, politically and culturally, they remind me of how the germans reacted Post WWII. 'Dark', they want to worship people who were in prison, they diet until they're skin and bone delibertly to make people believe that they're really poor, and meanwhile they purchase $2,000 tank tops. I really can't believe how much they have changed over the past 10 years. It's really a shame.

By the way, I think that in many ways the world is very weary of the japanese because they haven't really apologized for WWII, and that because of shintoism they still honor their ancestors who were involved in the war... this is why many countries are weary of a Japanese nuclear power. But other than that I think it is unfair to label the japenese, umbrella. And I think you're just being antagonistic.

You ready too many Tom Clancy novels. I hate to break your bubble of ignorance, but Tokyo is 97% powered by nuclear energy but Japan is the biggest opponent of nuclear weapons in the world. And since the USA is the only country in history to have used an atomic weapon against an enemy (that's right, Japan), are you sure you are being weary of the right country?

OK, now you can go back to your Cheetos and Oprah.

The japanese came very, very close to ending my life before it even began

I don't feel bad for them being atomized in world war II either (not for the above reason though).

I think you might mean wary - not weary. They mean different things. If you mean weary this just doesn't make any sense at all.

It was a typo, did you have to pick? Yes, wary.

Grasshopper-- I was thinking of the only way the japenese would scare people right now. Maybe I shouldn't have typed it, but I was thinking out loud (out write?). I'm not advocating it. I was mainly trying to tell what's his name to shut the ___ up and stop talking?
