My daughter and I are both fencing at the Fencing Exchange in Scranton, PA. They don't have small enough gloves for their "younger fencers." She's 8, going on 9, and besides looking for a funky golf glove to sew some elastic on, I don't know where to look?? I've checked Santelli, Physical Chess, Blade -online- and they don't seem to carry them...

Ummmmmmm...
Not sure about Kid Gloves, (gerritt?!) for fencing, but have you considered visiting your local equestrian emporium? Loads of posh tots have ponies. I'm about 70% confident you may find something suitable there... although it wouldn't really offer much protection to the back of the hand.
If your daughter traces her hand and you send that to any of the mail order companies (Physical Chess, Blue Gauntlet, the Fencing Post, Triplette) then they will find the right size for her.
